Our Process

We take pride in our application method to ensure we’re growing the healthiest possible crops while preserving the environment

HOW WE DO IT

We’ve helped set the industry standard when it comes to regenerative agriculture solutions by becoming experts in soil fertility and nutrient management and using innovative technology.

SOIL FERTILITY
& NUTRIENT
MANAGEMENT

We care for our soil and nutrients in a way that produces target yields and preserves the environment.

Compost, manure, and biosolids are organic, valuable resources. Our soil fertility and nutrient management ensure our crops are growing in the healthiest and most efficient way possible. We can analyze both the soil samples and the manure analysis to calculate an application rate, so that the application can be applied at an agronomic rate. We typically pull soil samples using a 10- or 20-acre grid. We base the agronomic rate off of yield goals, history of crop yields, crop rotation, manure analysis, and soil samples. We want to determine how many nutrients can be applied to maximize total yield goals and, more importantly, to reduce the amount of commercial fertilizer used. Organic and commercial fertilizers can work well together if those calculations are done before application begins. Agitation is key to help achieve those goals. With agitation, we can suspend solids that are settled on the bottom of lagoons or deep pits. With agitation we can help increase available space and put those nutrients where they will be most beneficial to the producer and the farmer. It’s a win-win.

INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY

Our innovative technology gives us an edge over our competitors.

Bio-Resources Application Management utilizes John Deere application maps to provide an abundance of information about soil samples and nutrients on each acre of land. This information includes, a manure analysis for every 5-40 acres, date, time, location, application rate, total gallons, and total N, P, & K of inputs applied. We use this information to understand what macro and micronutrients were applied.

BIO-SECURITY PROTOCOLS

Our safety and security protocols help prevent the spread of disease.

The development and implementation of our bio-security program ensures we can safely move to and from other swine farms. Maintaining these protocols at all times means healthy animals, improved animal welfare, improved efficiency and profitability for our customers and producers. Our biosecurity protocols include, power washing and disinfecting all equipment before and after each job, detailing cabs, washing all employee clothing, confirming the appropriate bio-security level before moving to the next site, setting up a line of separation, a full clean up, placing a tarp over pit fans covers upon removal (if required), following the appropriate amount of down-time, receiving clearance before entering any site, and wearing rubber boots at all times.
